Onsen Hot Pools

Onsen Hot Pools is located high on a cliffside overlooking the magnificent Shotover River canyon, providing views over breathtaking alpine scenery and the perfect vantage point to watch the Shotover Jet jetboats on the river below.

Plenty of car parking is available close to Arthurs Point Road, just behind 'The Barn', with the main building located about 100m further away from the road.

Each pool can comfortably accommodate up to four adults. Bathers may shower and change in their pool room or in the beautifully appointed changing rooms.

A large airy reception and waiting area provides a cosy, comfortable environment for relaxing and chatting with friends after your invigorating soak. Our outdoor sundeck has one of the most impressive views in the whole of Queenstown, so expect to spend a little time before or after your soak taking it all in!

We are not a licensed facility so alcohol is not permitted on the premisies. In fact, it's important for bathers to stay well hydrated or risk light-headedness and potential injury from falls, so the dehydrating effect of alcohol is a serious risk. We have a wide range of organic fruit drinks and bottled water to help bathers get the best health effects from their soak.
